At CosmeticSurg, your initial consultation is with our Medical Director Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Dr. Rodriguez is a Yale-trained Plastic Surgeon who has been practicing all aspects of Plastic Surgery for 20 years. His practice is now devoted exclusively to cosmetic procedures. Dr. Rodriguez is Chief, Division of Plastic Surgery at GBMC Hospital in Baltimore and is part-time Clinical Plastic Surgery Faculty at Johns Hopkins University. He has extensive international training and expertise in facial, breast, and body procedures. Dr. Rodriguez has utilized fat grafting techniques for more than a decade to rejuvenate areas of the the face, buttocks, and body. He has been profiled in the national and local media for nearly two decades.

Dr. Rodriguez has a firm commitment to spending a lot of time with you in your initial consultation so that he understands the things that YOU want to change about your appearance. He listens to your needs and will explain the various surgical techniques that he can use to achieve your goal. Dr. Rodriguez believes that patient education and informed consent are important parts of enhancing your image. After your initial consultation, you will have a pre-operative consult so that he can review the surgical plan and prepare you for the post-operative period. On the morning of your surgery, Dr. Rodriguez will make your “surgical markings” with you in front of a mirror. Thus, you are able to reaffirm those important small details of your surgical plan.

Your surgery is performed by Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez and his highly specialized surgical team in our State of the Art, Medicare Certified, Plastic Surgery Facility. Surgery can also be performed at one of the many Baltimore hospitals at which Dr. Rodriguez has admitting privileges. Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) is only 3 miles away from our facility.

Following your surgery, Dr. Rodriguez feels that all patients should have direct access to him by telephone. For this reason, Dr. Rodriguez encourages patients to contact him directly by cell phone instead of the answering service. Out of town patients will be taken by private medical transport to nearby hotels which have special accommodations for medical patients.

CosmeticSurg has experience in accommodating international clientele. Our patients have included physicians, actors, and people of all walks of life. Dr. Rodriguez speaks French, English, and Spanish fluently. He is known for “total makeovers” or multiple procedures in the same operative session. Dr. Rodriguez is committed to the highest standards of honesty and integrity as a member of the ASPS. His surgical team and office staff are caring, compassionate, and loyal. Most have worked with him for many years.

CosmeticSurg is the result of many years of listening and understanding the desires and needs of our patients.  Dr. Rodriguez and his staff meticulously designed our beautiful new office and our Medicare Certified out-patient surgery center to provide our patients with the best cosmetic experience of their lives.  We are conveniently located near the intersection of I-695 and North Charles Street, exit 25.  Parking is convenient and your privacy is always assured as we have a separate entrance for our surgical and post-op patients.
